Safe, but sleepy
Feb. 6th, 2008 10:40 amI think the first weather radio alarm went off a little before 3am. I stumbled to the shelves, gave a quick listen, determined it wasn't imminent danger, and fell back into bed. Only to have the alarm go off a little after 3am with actual danger. On went the TV. Open went my eyes. JD woke up when the n'hood sirens started wailing. She went to the bathroom, verified that I was on storm watch, and went back to bed. It wasn't until around 4:30am that the less severe line of storms approached and I could pull my eyes off the TV. The last time I saw the clock, it was 5:03am. JD woke me up about 90 minutes later.
I am among the walking dead today. Blech.
