Congratulations Daddy! How nice to have a girl for a change.

OH, will Calvin be at school tomorrow? Remember, our T-giving "feast" will be at 10:15, and the kids will be singing a couple songs. I have Calvin's turkey project for him to finish, and they turned out really cute with the other kids so I hope I'll at least get a chance to give you guys the started turkey and materials so you can finish it at home. Let me know, because I would hate for you guys not to get to enjoy it for Thanksgiving.

The boys are both over at JD's parent's house tonight. I reminded Calvin about the feast tomorrow but told Barbara not to push the point if he protests going to school in the morning. The boy's nerves were wound up in a big knot today. Mom said that he visibly relaxed his body when it was announced out the door that Harper was born.

The first time was scary - mostly because of the newness and uncertainty.

The second time was scary because of Nigel's trouble breathing right after birth.

This time was scary because of the anticipation of what I new could go wrong and the small moments that raised my hair in momentary fear of this being the thing to cascade into trouble.

But it's very nice to be comfortable with the support team we had there to help deliver Harper.
