Oct. 23rd, 2007 08:21 pm1. Who eats more?
She's pregnant, so that's not a fair question.
2. Who said "I love you" first?
JD did.
3. Who is the morning person?
Hands down, JD! It is a miracle that I was able to wake up at 3am for my time in radio. I am a cranky motherfucker for the first hour or so after I get out of bed in the morning. My body does not change gears well; I struggle to go to sleep at night and to wake up in the morning.
4. Who sings better?
She sings better, but I tend to sing more. With my bass voice, I end up singing falsetto frequently to the songs I play...and who can stand falsetto for that long?
5. Who’s older?
I'm older by 3 years.
6. Who’s smarter?
I am the master of Trivial Pursuit, but she's got parenting and physiological info that far surpasses all I've learned and forgot.
7. Whose temper is worse?
I've got a shorter fuse, but JD is much quicker to resort to violence in a fight.
8. Who does the laundry?
Mostly me...except that JD does much of the folding of the kids' clothes.
9. Who does the dishes?
I do most dishes. JD gets stuck with hand washing dishes since my compulsion is loading and unloading the dishwasher and not necessarily cleaning the dishes.
10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
Other than the first year or so we lived together, I sleep on the right side. I prefer sleeping on my right side and prefer to face off the bed than towards someone.
11. Whose feet are bigger?
Mine!
12. Whose hair is longer?
JD's
13. Who’s better with the computer?
Although she brought the computer into our relationship and her dad has kept us supplied through the years, I know FAR more than she does about them.
14. Do you have pets?
Calvin and Nigel ;) Ernie (cat) died right after we moved to Huntsville. I hope to bring a cat into the family in the next year. I know I said that a year or so ago, but then Monkey came along. After an anticipated raise next year, a pair of kittens will be able to fit into our budget.
15. Who pays the bills?
I am in charge of the finances. I hate to think how horrible JD's credit would be if she actually lived as a single woman for several years after college instead of moving in with me.
16. Who cooks dinner?
JD for the most part. I've been cooking more as she's been resting the past couple of weeks and I want to try to maintain cooking dinner, at least, a couple of nights a week. JD is a recipe cook and I'm an experimental cook - her consistency trumps my measuring cup-free style. ;)
17. Who drives when you are together?
I drive about 90% of the time. It's probably 60% of being a bad backseat driver and 40% restless leg syndrome when my feet have nothing to do in the car on trips.
18. Who pays when you go out to dinner?
Kinda moot question.
19. Who’s the most stubborn?
We're both stubborn about different things.
20. Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong?
Probably even on this...depending on what went wrong.
21. Whose family do you see more?
Hers. Before I started working with her dad, it was because her mom retired from her job at AmSouth and would care for the boys occasionally.
22. Who named your pet?
I named Ernie. We agreed on Calvin right off the bat. I wanted to name a child or pet Nigel since high school. JD told me early in our relationship that Calvin was good, but she wouldn't name a kid either Linus or Nigel. JD changed her mind about Nigel around the 6 month mark. It came as a complete surprise.
23. Who kissed who first?
I lead the physical side of the relationship, so probably me.
24. Who asked who out?
I think you could say that JD asked me out first. I promised my "lil sis" that I would meet with her best friend who was a freshman at Bama, but never followed through. Somehow we both ended up at a GLBA meeting together and she ran over to me with her phone number because she had my "lil sis's" mailing address and needed to give it to me.
26. Who’s more sensitive?
JD
27. Who’s taller?
I'm a foot taller. JD said she feared our wedding because of our disparity in height. Part of the problem was resolved by her wearing 3" white platform shoes under her wedding dress. When it came time for the kiss, I clapped my hands twice, one of my groomsmen pulled out a milk crate from under the front pew, placed it between JD and I, I helped her up, and we kissed.
28. Who has more friends?
JD is much more of a social butterfly than I. Let me deal with people one-on-one or as a "performer" in front of a group of people (10-1000 is pretty much the same to me).
29. Who has more siblings?
JD has two older brothers. I have one younger brother.
30. Who wears the pants in the relationship?
Depends on what needs to get done.
She's pregnant, so that's not a fair question.
