Writer's Block: Between the slices

My favorite sandwich is the Shoney's Slim Jim - hot ham and Swiss cheese served on a hoagie roll with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and thousand island dressing. I haven't enjoyed my visits to Shoney's much over the past decade and was thrilled to discover that Bellacino's made a similar sandwich that all I needed to do was have them do 1000 isle dressing instead of mayo. Alas, Bellacino went out of business in Huntsville a year ago and I've been debating the worth of eating at Shoney's again.
