"Take a race from any ISC property still conducive to old-style racing -- Martinsville, Darlington, Richmond -- and award it to cookie-cutter Kansas and you tell the fans you're choosing taking as much of their money as you can over giving them good racing."

Hinton: Uneasy lie the crowns

When I woke up this morning and stepped outside, it was as if fall was arriving. It was so cool and comfy with a nice breeze, muted skies, and occasional drizzle. I decided to spend some time out on the covered front porch working. Before I knew it, it was 5:30pm and I was logging off. It was so pleasant watching the showers come through, the clouds break up, and then cluster together again while doing one of my more mundane work tasks today. The breeze kept the background music of wind chimes tumbling at a nice, mellow tempo and volume. I'm keeping the small desk out on the porch and hope to work out there frequently on the days where it is comfortable enough to spend the time outside.
