One of the tasks that I do for my job is to investigate domains that send emails to our customers. The primary way I do this is by looking at the top 30 senders during a certain period and clearing the legit domains and blocking the spammy ones. Usually the easiest way to determine the legitimacy is just to plug the domain into Firefox.

After doing this enough, you start seeing the same faux-websites and placards placed on the websites for these domains by the spammers. One of my favorite placards to see is this one...



Click on that and take a closer look at the staged picture. I can't help but laugh at those models. The picture is supposed to represent a business meeting, but the look of confusion on the faces just makes me giggle. I keep imagining the photographer instructing the models to "look like you are thinking" and the best they can muster is confusion.
