I just returned to the office* from lunch at Thai Garden with
chris21718. I woke up "late" this morning, debated grabbing a b'fast quesadilla at Lil Rosies', but decided to just head to the office and see about meeting up for lunch at 11am when Thai Garden opened. The salad was quickly inhaled. The beef curry was FABULOUS but the meat and rice were gone in just a few minutes - leaving a 2/3 full bowl of curry and bamboo shoots.
I am sitting here at my desk now pondering what to do about my hunger. I ran out of yellow dot stickers to mark the location of schools with FanMail names on my big map here, so any other work I do can be done at home. Whatever I decide to do, I need to do it by 2pm so I can be online for the daily meeting.
...OK
I just wandered over to the other desk and saw that I still have a stash of strawberry fruit bars. If this doesn't do the trick, I'm going home right after the meeting and having another snack.
* - Yeah, I'm somewhat successful now in having Tuesday as my office day. I keep hoping that gas prices will continue to drop and Andy will seriously consider coming into the office regularly too after we finally get the webmail service launched. It is a psychological boost while I'm working here, but the practical aspects of not being handy to assist with the kids and the cost of gas/parking easily trump that emotional positive.
