Jan. 18th, 2007 02:58 pmAnother day of Ick. Tuesday felt like I had a bad head cold. Yesterday, the symptoms loosened their grip on my throat and head but added exhaustion and chills with a tiny bit of nausea. Today is more of the same from yesterday with the nausea notched up a bit and occasional gag-like sensations in my throat.
HOWEVER, JD woke up with what I have but with the nausea factor much higher (but she tends to have more tummy/vomit issues than I when we are sick). She took the day off and brought Nigel home with her since he freaks out to be in their class without her. Grandma picked him up after her chiro appt this morning.
The preschool called us at 1pm asking if anyone was going to pick up Calvin. Since JD had fallen into a coma, I threw on some layers and drove the couple of blocks to get him. We discussed how Mom and Dad are sick and don't want to do anything so if he could do everything for himself, that would be appreciated. He's spent the past 90 minutes playing educational games on my computer while I'm wrapped like a mummy on the couch doing some ham/spam. JD has been going in and out of consciousness in the bedroom. We haven't heard from Grandma, so I dunno how long Nigel will be out of our hair today.
