Dec. 14th, 2006 11:45 amDespite having both boys home sick today and having a little bummer-hangover from yesterday, I'm in pretty good spirits today. I think the kids being low maintenance (as low maintenance as you get with sick kids...without just setting them in front of the TV) has helped my mental state today.
Calvin's got a stomach bug that him spending quality time on the toilet and Nigel's got green gobs of goop up his nose again. Oh, Nigel also was coughing all night long. I went into his room around 11pm with his juice. He was coughing away but he was dead asleep at the same time. I ended up propping him in my lap and giving him his sippy cup like a baby gets a bottle. I did this again a couple of hours later. It was really cute when he would be done drinking, he would just roll off my arms and sigh contentedly as he settled back to sleep...only to start coughing again within 20 minutes.
