I started reading this story on CNN.com about a man that found a bag of letters to God floating in a plastic bag in the ocean. The article talks about the content of some of the letters and quotes a few. I was really touched by some the letters mentioned in the story. It was a great piece to read...until I got to the last paragraph:
Lacovara said he is sad that most of the writers never had their letters read. But he hopes to change that soon: He is putting the collection up for sale on eBay.
HUH? WTF? How will his selling these prayers on eBay help? Give me a fucking break. I hope if he does up them on eBay, he doesn't get more than a dollar.
