I'm Blind!
Sep. 6th, 2006 03:04 pmOne of the items in my budget from the JS paycheck is a new pair of glasses. Based on what it cost JD, I gave myself a bit of pad and set aside $300 for an exam and glasses from Costco.
Exam went well...but I had to get my eyes dilated. He put the drops in my eyes, I wandered around the store for 1/2 an hour, he examined my eyes again, and I got one of those sunglass inserts to wear. Of course, I could barely keep one eye open the entire time I drove home. I stuck to the back roads on the way home than worry about changing lanes along the Parkway. It is still very hard for me to focus on things up close (guessing about the speedometer when I got to the school zone was pure joy) so I'm not going to stay on the computer more than another minute or two.
