Quick update

I'm home. I'm tired. I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl.

Things went tremendously well at Jacobs in Tullahoma these past two days. I couldn't have asked it to go any better. The few snags were easily overcome and truly not noteworthy.

We've been asked for more help in the coming weeks and may see this continuing up to their delivery in September. In addition to this one, there are 3 other leads for this same work at the company. Capture managers from the other projects were also present during our work. Nearly everyone came up at some point during the day sharing examples of where we assisted them and offered thanks.

Their guy who will head their "morale/performance" effort on this potential contract talked to me for about 3 or 4 minutes at the beginning of our lunch break. He talked about how he enjoyed our presentation this morning because he liked my enthusiasm. He likes people who obviously love their jobs.

I can't say that I argue with that assessment of me at all. I'm having an absolute blast with my job and am thrilled about my future with it.
