Sep. 29th, 2005 08:03 pmThe easiest Republican to hate is Rep. Tom "The Hammer" Delay. Personally, I think he and Sen. Tom Daschle (D-SD) were separated at birth...but I digress.
I have to say that I am saddened that the prosecutor could only come up with a conspiracy charge. It's an obvious sign that Delay is smart enough not to leave a good evidence trail back to himself. It's not as big of a scandal IMO as the Rostenkowski and House Bank brouhaha a decade ago, but it's dirty laundry that needs to get aired out and thrown away.
