Joys of a Bill Gates world

Got another "members" email from Hotmail today. I usually just delete the damned things since I have yet to find anything in them of interest. Today I decided to see if there was a way to unsubscribe to it. This is what it says at the bottom of the email (I swear to God this is the truth):

If you do not wish to receive Hotmail member letters, you may close your Hotmail account.

Of course, other than deleting your Hotmail account, you can also pay for Hotmail and then be given an option on whether or not to receive them. I think the slogan "Pay us or fuck off" should be on all Microsoft products.
