Trying to do some catching up...

I hate leaving promises in posts...I really shouldn't say that I'll post about something later, because that's usually done right before I go on hiatus from posting. Shame, shame on me.

Had some minor progress on the job front. It's not much, but I've agreed to work in the wife's family's business. They need someone to help them promote a new spam filtering service for those w/ domain email. It's a good product, it'll get me local media contacts and will give me some practice in my new career direction.

Looks like I'll be going to Nashville on Wednesday. JD will be taking Calvin on a day-trip play-date to Nashville. Since there isn't really room for me to join them or desire to go to the places they want to go, I really have the day to do whatever I want. I've decided that I would really like to go to Nashville, but in my own car and with a completely different itinerary. My brother has agreed to come up from B'ham to join me on this venture. I'm really eager to go to La Hacienda for lunch for some good ol' authentic taco stand authentic Mexican. Then we'll go next door to Phonolux to do some used CD shopping. At some point I've got to go by the First art museum that has opened since I left town.
