Not Busy...Well, Kinda...Not Really
Jun. 29th, 2003 02:46 pmOkay, so it's been several weeks since I've posted anything. I have been active, but I'm hesitant to say that I've been "busy." Been having lunches with some media folks and have some marketing people that I'll be meeting with this upcoming week. No job offers yet, but have had several opportunities brought to my attention.
Calvin has been going thru a mental growth spurt. He's learned how to climb stairs, if you ask him how big he is...he throws his hands above his head (so big), he seems to be picking up the meaning of "close" (as in to close the curio cabinet despite the neat stuff inside), and he's bonded quite a bit with both sets of grandparents.
He had his 1st b-day party last weekend. My brother and one of my grandmothers came up from B'ham for the weekend. It was a nice Elmo themed get together. I just saw the pics that my f-i-l made last night and the sequence of Calvin getting his Elmo cake and then destroying it is lol funny! I must post a link to his site once we post those in the next few days.
The wife and I have been doing a lot of driving around the n'hoods here in town trying to determine our top picks of where to concentrate on the house hunt whenever that rolls around.
Oh...and the primary thing that has been keeping me from posting is that I finally broke down and bought Sim City 4. I'm such an addict...if I'm sitting at the computer, that is what I'm doing...I have to remind myself to check email.
