Circumcision! We forgot all about circumcision! JD and I were at birthing class today and were talking about basic childcare of the newborn (what to expect to do in the first 24 hours). The teacher is going over the diaper routine and asks the class who plans on having their son snipped. It was like a brick wall. Of all of the things that JD and I discussed, that hadn't come up. What to do to Calvin Rufus's who-who-dilly has never crossed our mind. We talked a bit about it in the car on the way home and we think we're going to let him keep the hat on the head. There is a "cool factor" to having a mohel do a nonJewish snipping, but neither of us really see the point/expense of it.
