I want to take this opportunity to wish my good friend, mentor, and former boss - Darrell Ankarlo - best of luck as he departs KLIF in Dallas for KTAR in Phoenix!
Current Mood:hopeful
Current Music:Justin Timberlake - "My Love" (I know, I'm questioning my mental state, too)
My favorite part of the video is when the TI guy is rapping and there's 3-D rubber bands flying at you. It's doesn't fit conceptually with the lyrics as far as I can here, so I'm wondering if they just needed clip art or something.
I find I've gone through a similiar pattern of accepting teen-pop as I've gotten older, as opposed to the distain as a teenager. At the same time, I think the music is much better, so there's an objective component to it, as well.
FYI, here's two of the better songs on the album, the latter having Justin singing about a guy named bob works at his job and turned to crack. The first one in particuar strikes me as ballsy and clever in it's transition, and proves Justin and Timberland do Coldplay better than Coldplay. The second is just silly:
Have you noticed that TI wears a rubberband on his right wrist?
The director initially uses it by having the female model tug on the rubberband in a variety of ways (hand, heel of shoe, and her teeth). Near the end of the video, there's a part where the model has the band in her teeth, it slips out, and smacks his arm that catches my attention every time I watch the video.

- love stoned - I think she knows (interlude)<-- lot of pretentious titles like that, but it's cool.
