You Are 20% Democrat

If you have anything in common with the Democrat party, it's by sheer chance.
You're a staunch conservative, and nothing is going to change that!

You Are 16% Republican

If you have anything in common with the Republican party, it's by sheer chance.
You're a staunch liberal, and nothing is going to change that!

I'm too busy/lazy today to debate in length (see my most recent post), so I'll do an abbreviated argument for you. ;)

*Cory quotes John Locke at length*

*Cory takes some Hobbes out of context for the sake of strengthening his argument.*

*Cory hedges his agreement of Kant's assertions of social morality.*

*Cory cautiously discusses the social relations discussed by Smith, but avoids the repercussions of the full-Smith capitalism because he does see the point of some regulation of standards.*

*Cory states his "realist" acceptance of the US govt, but states powers which the Federal govt has trespassed on freedom on the past century*

*Cory makes nice talk because he doesn't want to ignite a flame war. He only wants to clarify his beliefs.*

Coll. As long as it's not the "the gov't will take my guns away" argument, or you quote Rand, no flame war is necessary. Someday, though, I'd wouldn't mind seeing how you take Hobbes out of context. I generally use Hobbes and the "people are inherently self-centered animals" argument for my crazy Left ideas.
