I started reading this story on CNN.com about a man that found a bag of letters to God floating in a plastic bag in the ocean. The article talks about the content of some of the letters and quotes a few. I was really touched by some the letters mentioned in the story. It was a great piece to read...until I got to the last paragraph:

Lacovara said he is sad that most of the writers never had their letters read. But he hopes to change that soon: He is putting the collection up for sale on eBay.

HUH? WTF? How will his selling these prayers on eBay help? Give me a fucking break. I hope if he does up them on eBay, he doesn't get more than a dollar.

Man ... That's just wrong. Of course they were read. I mean, He's God! Just because the Post Office can't get His mail to Him, doesn't mean He's not reading the mail.

Selling the letters on e-bay. That's just disgusting. Besides, isn't there some statute against selling someone else's mail? there should be!!!!

Dear God is one of Andy Partridge's most angry songs, and that's including Complicated Game which has about two minutes of Andy howling with rage.

If you listen to the song, it'll make more sense.

K. thanks. It's been a while since I heard that one.

Love the icon, btw.

It appears to be a person with black hair, brushed back. sunglasses, red shirt, beaded tail or scalp hanging from the shoulder. AG in the lower left hand corner.

That's Auron. He's a character from Final Fantasy X.

And thanks!
