Nancy Grace is an evil fucking bitch!

The woman has blood on her hands for certain now. I don't care if the mother turns out to be guilty of doing something to her son, it isn't Lucifer Grace's place to incite suicide.

I believe that the woman who killed herself made the personal choice to do it. Nancy Grace has interviewed tons of criminals and suspects and everybody in between, and they dont go killing themselves.

Point being, Nancy didnt go murder her. The woman was a douschebag who killed herself and most likely her own son.

Guilty conscience maybe. Nancy has helped a lot of people too.

And also, Nancy didnt say "You should kill yourself"...I believe she conducted a thourough interview TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LITTLE BOY!

The cops would do the same.

The suicide woman was a dipshit.

If you are going to blame Nancy for that shitbag's suicide, then you have to blame Marilyn Manson for Columbine, or Werner Herzog for the suicide of Joy Divison singer Ian Curtis, who killed himself after watching a Herzog film.

Suicide is a choice. Inciting it is something Dr Kevorkian does. If the woman couldnt handle being questioned on the death of her son, she shouldnt have killed her son.

Aside from not liking Nancy Grace at all, why do you blame her for the woman's suicide? Maybe there is a video online of her interview.

I'm not a big fan of Nancy. Sometimes she has that "bless your heart" tone to her voice that I can't stand, but I don't see how she's to blame for someone else committing suicide.

hah, had a talk today about his very subject.

nancy grace, simply put, is a murder. she replaced ann coulter as the number 1 waste of skin on earth.

ann coulter only suggested that people should kill employees of the NYTimes, grace actually drove someone into killing themselves.

grace should be considered an accomplice to the suicide. i think its great that thanks to this c*&t, the police lost the one most important source of information in this case.

That's CNN!

Grace spent the entire interview shouting and banging her fist on her desk demanding the mother 'tell us what you were doing that day' and 'where were you that day'.

a 21 year old with a missing 2 year old, a mother the investigators said was mentally unstable and needed to be handled with care.

certainly the final blame rests on the mother for the suicide, but why dont you have a 2 year old child disappear, then let us berate you on nation television. we will be sure to accuse you of knowing what happened and refusing to follow the age old 'innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law'.

seriously, since you seem to know the mother killed the child, please share your information to the police.

Date: 2006-09-14 02:46 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] otopico.livejournal.com
grace is on CNN, her job is to ask questions, not act as prosecutor and judge. if she wants to prosecute she needs to stop playing news and be a prosecutor. she ignored the few facts in this case and spent the interview pushing her view the mother killed the child on the mother. that wasn't an interview, it was a rant with grace shoving her personal opinion at the mother.

trial by jury, not by public opinion.

her behavior was vile. she wasn't interviewing, she was shouting at a 21 year old mother dealing with easily the worst thing that can happen to a parent.

and, please pray tell do you know what this woman was? you have no trouble calling her a diphit, and a 'douschebag' (douche), but what evidence do you have?

I called her a dipshit because she killed herself. Plain and simple.

Grace isnt responsible for the mother killing herself. She may have been harsh about "asking questions" but she never suggested "kill yourself"

While the responsibility ultimately lies with the mother, it is Nancy Grace's continuous lack of responsibility in her role as a broadcaster and supposed journalist that disgusts me to no end. She is one of the worst offenders of my least favorite radio talk show host trait (and something that I rarely saw in Darrell in my 6 years with him): confusing being confident while asserting their opinions with asserting their opinions as fact.

I, in no way, think that Nancy Grace is in any way (civil or criminal) legally accountable. The mother's lawyer's stupidity was also a strong contributing factor. I believe the mother said that her lawyer advised against the polygraph...but he/they approved of her going on Nancy Grace? That's fucking stupid. If she was stressed out by the press already, why torture her by putting the mother on this show...knowing the likelihood of being attacked? What did the producers tell the lawyers/whomever when scheduling the interview? Was the lawyer tricked into thinking that Nancy was on their side and going to help promote the missing son as to get more leads for the police? As a former producer, lying is a more common technique for getting hard-to-get guests than one would like to admit.

Cory's "Nancy Grace is Irresponsible" Poem

Nancy Grace's behavior towards
an emotionally unstable woman
on CNN Headline News (supposedly a respectable source of journalism)
around the globe and
to every single person who could be in the jury (no matter who is prosecuted)
by deciding it is her justified right to assume the mother's guilt
and doing her best to paint the woman in that light
is irresponsible

*audience snaps fingers and sips coffee here*

If the mother is guilty...Why would Nancy Grace give the defense grounds to have the interview excluded from the trial? If she tipped over the edge on Nancy Grace, surely the mother would crack within the next day or so with the police.

If the mother isn't guilty...now everyone who saw that will always think of this mother as another Andrea Yates or Susan Smith (I'd say Patsy Ramsey, but she was guilty! Just kidding, I don't know or care who killed Jon Benet). An emotional person coming away from that interview and knowing that soon the broadcasted character assassination would forever taint her as the murderer to the world --when someone else actually kidnapped and possibly murdered her first/only child-- could certainly see the repugnant act of suicide as the only solution to the problem.

There's always plenty of blame to go around when something bad happens. I feel that Nancy Grace's actions unfairly, negatively affect others more than the actions of the average person.

The truth is, I got jumpy and swore at you in the way I did because you made me out to be some kind of uncaring monster who dosent know how much suicide hurts. I have been there. I know it hurts.

A lot of things hurt. I really do feel sorry for you. Maybe you hate me enough already to not believe it, but I know it's true.
