Obligatory Post
May. 24th, 2006 06:05 pmI'm here and alive. About every other day I take a few minutes to think about something to post. Nothing has really compelled me, so silently I sit here on LJ. There are little things going on but are too premature to comment on.
I do want to say a couple of things before I go...
That 70's Show Finale - SUCKED! Although the idea to end the show at New Years Eve, Dec 31, 1979 was ideal. Most everything else that happened was either a cheap tug at nostalgia or head-scratching ties for remaining loose ends. I'm now worried that if they try another spin-off, it will be Jackie Loves Fez.
Will & Grace Finale - Exactly what it should have been. I pretty much gave up on W&G during the Harry Connick Troubles. Between his going to a Third World country, Debra Messing having to hide her pregnancy, and celebrity stunt guest stars, the show became tedious. The finale about fate was perfect (saw it coming once I saw the sexes of the children). I thought Jack and Karen singing "Unforgettable" was very touching. Very nice way to wrap things up.
