1. Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you.

2. I will then tell what song reminds me of you.

3. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, I'll tell you what it would be.

4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.

5. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.

6. I will tell you what color you remind me of.

7. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.

8. Put this in your journal.

2. Anything by XTC

3. 4 o'clock in the afternoon - It's the time of day that you've had all that you can take of work and your coworkers, you realize what you have to do at home, and dream about what you actually want to do at home.

4. snark ;)

5. None "with" you... I guess it might be your reaction to my preference for Ruben Blades' cover of "The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul" over the original by XTC. I felt like I had really let you down...but I smiled an evil smile all the same. Maybe it was seeing your sensitive side.

6. Purple...don't ask me why. I can't explain. More or less a free association, first-thought-that-came-to-mind kind of thing.

7. What happened between high school and your current job. Other than comments about previously being a temp, I'm curious about what you did after graduation and how it lead to your current job and getting your associates degree in the evenings.

What, I don't get a #1 response? Oh noes!! My poor crushed ego! >:P

*ahem*

Between high school and my current job I took off a semester to work two jobs. One in a factory and one in an office. The factory job paid well, it was mindless, and I liked it. The office job didn't pay as well, but it was a good "get your feet wet" experience to see if the career path I was considering would sit with me. I was footing the bill by myself, and I didn't want to waste my money. Then I started college. At the local community college, and back then all you needed to get in was a pulse and a sideways pass at highschool. Even so, I fucked around my first semester, getting a "D" in Chemistry. I did three more full-time semesters in the pre-Bac Accounting program, then thought it would be a smashing idea to get married, so I did. With one thing and another, holding down a full-time school schedule and working full-time hours got to be too much, and I left school. I temped for about a year and a half off and on, then found a job at a now-defunct office of National Linen Service. I worked there for two years or so, with a lay-off of two months in that time - which I filled by working more temp jobs and running for a law firm. Then in 1997, I answered an ad for my current job, and there I remain. My current job offers full reimbursement for college, and I, like a fool, thought finishing my degree would help me get a promotion.

Oooopsy! Don't know if I was impatient and skipped 1 after reading just the first part about your name or if I skipped it to come back (my money is on me being inattentive).

1. Disclaimer: Remember that the mission of #1 is to point out something I like about you. Others haven't seen the following comment that way before, so this is just a reminder that I'm a bit goofy and you must take the following as a compliment.

Since my early teen years, I have had a fascination with bitches. Women that speak their mind and don't give a flying fuck about what others think. And it's not like these women are just complaining for the sake of it...these are legitimate concerns and situations that I'm too inhibited (believe it or not) to say for myself. Sometimes I dared to try a relationship, but for the most part it's a need of mine to have a few good bitchy women in my life. You are one of the best bitches I've meet in a long time. Your whipsmart comments shine from your intelligence. I wish that I could give you an honorary Masters in the reality of the workplace.

1. You are very genuine and straight-forward.

2. Lordy...nothing really. Just means we need to spend more time together now that we know the other is in H'ville.

3. 2am - Though I don't know from personal experience, I've had the feeling that your day would peak at that hour.

4. Strength

5. There was one day my soph year at Grissom before we went into our respective foreign language classes (I had German II and you were in Latin I next door?) that stands out. I don't know what it was...Smartee, birth control pill, placebo, or what...but you said it was acid. Since I didn't think that acid came in pill form, I took it. You were quite energetic that day (dunno if pharmaceutical or hormonal) and I just decided to play along. The thought that something was going to happen never crossed my mind. In fact, nothing did happen but I think I said that something did. I dunno. Anyways, I have used the experience for stuff I've written (with much exaggeration used).

6. Red - You're bold, Baby!

7. The only thing I can think of was answered a month or so ago.

lol, that is so funny. I am not sure what the hell I gave everyone. I know that what I gave Rusty was pamprin. lol To this day Cyn still tells people that I was handing out illegal drugs when I was just giving out sinutab, pamprin, and what ever else I had in my purse. I just wanted to see if people would, 1.take the shit 2.say that it did things that it didn't. Guess it was a good thing that I wasn’t giving out "true" illegal drugs. I wonder if Rusty had a day with out bloating and cramps. Bwahahahahhaha

2am is either when I get going really well, but I seem to crash about 4am. You sure are good. And you know that Red is my second favorite color.

I will try and make a point of spending some time with you soon. You know that you are welcome to drop by any time this Sat. for our party. It is kid friendly, and you don't have to stay for the whole thing. Bring the wife and kids for a few. Directions are in my journal.
