...or does Death Cab for Cutie use the same drum riff in "We Laugh Indoors" as Phil Collins uses in "Don't Lose My Number?" Sure, Phil uses synth drums on his track, but the beat is basically the same.

...or does Peter Murphy sound like Neil Diamond.

...or does the Scissor Sisters cover of "Comfortably Numb" use the same guitar riff as is featured in "Edge of Seventeen" by Stevie Nicks.

Listen to these back to back and tell me I'm lying.

Is it sad that I have all of these artists and songs in my music collection?

Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. Listen to Goldfinger's "Here in Your Bedroom." I've sworn for years that they lifted the drum track straight out of "English Roundabout."
